Head of a Child is in an edition of 11.  Two of which have been sold.

I will be taking part in the IPSEITY group show as part of the Westport Arts Festival

The dates are the 24th - 29th Oct 2018.

The majority of the works I am showing will be new pieces made here in Mayo where I now live, having moved here last year.

I have ammended the submission of 'Profile in Blue' to the NOA, to be included instead in the inaugural show of the GREEN FUSE gallery in Wesport, Ireland.

The launch of this new gallery will be on 16th July 2016. Further details will be available from their website: greenfuse.ie

I will also be showing other works including Trickle 2 and some of the more recently made 'Clare' titles.

The work 'Metamorphoses - Phaethon' won the £1000 prize for 'Best Installation'. So on that basis I have decided to enter again this year with the work 'Profile in blue'

A new piece of my work 'Metamorphoses - Phaethon' has been selected for this show which will be the Royal Collage of Art between 21st Oct - 1st Nov.
The sculpture is part of an on-going series of works based on Ovid's Metamorphoses. A preview and details of the work can be seen on their website here: http://www.thenationalopenartcompetition.com/gallery2.php?as=1&Metamorph...

- and some background information on the work:
I have been working with ‘Sign Language’ on and off for 20yrs. I was initially drawn to it through the process of seeking to understand my own three dimensional language in Sculpture.

As a result of showing the Sculpture 11/11/11 in last years E17 Art Trail, I was contacted by family descendants of the Lieutenant who's Memorial Plaque I had shown as part of the piece.

I had stated in my 2011 Art Trail webpage that I had saved the plaque from demolition with the faint hope of one day finding his family to pass it on.

I am opening a section of my workshop as part of the E17 Art Trail 2012. The Art Trail runs from 1-16th Sept, and I will be open each Sat,Sun 10am-6pm, except 16th 10-4pm.
